Repeat Signage Windows clipboard image saver

If you encounter an error in Repeat Signage, then please send us a screen snap shot image to help us identify the problem.  To do this:

- Press the Print Screen (Prnt Scr) button on your keyboard when the error appears.  This will make a copy of your screen to the Windows clipboard.

- Open Repeat Signage again

- On the menu click on 'Help' then 'Save Windows Clipboard image to disk'

- Click on the 'Copy from clipboard' button in the top right corner of the screen.  This will copy the image that you have taken (using the Print Screen (Prnt Scr) button on your keyboard when you saw the error).  Your screen image will be displayed on screen in a scrollable area.

- Click on the 'Save image' button and choose a place to save the image to and rename the file if necessary.

- You can then attach this to an email to send to support@repeatsoftware.com

Windows Snipping Tool

As an alternative to using our clipboard image saver, you can use the Windows Snipping Tool.

To open the Snipping Tool this:

- Click on the Windows Start orb, then 'All programs', then 'Accessories', then 'Snipping Tool'.

On Windows 8, press the Windows key on your keyboard to bring up the Start Screen then just type in 'snipping tool' which automatically starts a search and then the 'Snipping tool' app with appear.

You can use this to capture part of the screen, such as just an error message.  This tool is also useful for collecting pictures for your presentations.  For example, you could have a design displayed on screen in a design package or flowcharting package such as Microsoft Visio.  You could cut part of the design from the screen and then save it as a picture file for inserting into your presentations.
